Ring-tailed Mongoose (Galidia elegans)
… a euplerid (the family of carnivore mammals that includes malagasy genet and mongoose like animals, like the fossa and other malagasy “mongooses”) that is endemic to Madagascar. Find out more in this behind-the-scenes tour of the penguin nursery with the Central Park Zoo’s senior keeper Juan Manuel Romero, and chicks of Gentoo and Chinstrap Penguins.
